Within Freemasonry, Rhetoric teaches more than eloquence. It encourages a Mason to communicate with clarity, truth, and temperance, using speech to instruct, encourage, reconcile, and inspire rather than to deceive or dominate. The lesson is that words, when wisely chosen, become instruments of harmony and moral improvement.
