On Tuesday the 18th January, the Provincial Grand Chapter of Oxfordshire hosted a Tri-Province meeting, with the Royal Arch Provinces of Berkshire and Buckinghamshire.

The Most Excellent Grand Superintendent of Oxfordshire, E Comp James Hilditch warmly welcomed the Grand Superintendent of Berkshire Ian Hopgood and the Grand Superintendent of Buckinghamshire Graham Dearing and their teams of Executive and Officers.

Our Most Excellent Grand Superintendent Graham Dearing headed up our visiting team consisting of twenty-two companions from his Executive and Officers.

The host Chapter for the Tri-Province visit was Alfred Chapter Number 340 who's Charter is dated 8th of May 1822, two hundred years ago!

The meeting was held at the Masonic Hall, Woodstock, Oxfordshire, the well-attended meeting, with no seat in the hall was left empty!

The Companions present witnessed a wonderful ceremony of Exaltation of Bro. Mark Christian Avery a member of an Oxfordshire Lodge, Saint Mary's No. 1763, the Acting First Principal and the Principal Sojourner, Comp Mark Boulle  were outstanding in delivering the ceremony of Exaltation, which was very much appreciated by the new exaltee and the companions present.

After the meeting seventy companions attended a sumptuous festive board a wonderful meal, was served in good time a most enjoyable Masonic occasion!
